The purpose of this blog is to share some knowledge about Watermelon. I am a student of botany in university of Western Australia and I love to study about vegetables and fruits. Sounds too strange for my family members, but this is true that there is no alternative to hobby. When you like something, there seems to be no reason behind this.
Nature has gifted us a lot of fruits for our health and beauty. One of them is watermelon which has its origin from Southern Africa. The outer part of the fruit is quite hard, that is the reason it holds the inner stuff quite mild and watery. This fruit has a lot of types all over the world.
The most common types of water melons are little baby flower, yellow doll, crimson sweet, extazy, golden midget, jubilee, mickylee, moon and stars etc. This fruit has around 90% water element in it, that is why, it is said to be an alternative to water in desserts.
